Lazer e meio ambiente na Revista Licere / Leisure and the environment in the Journal Licere

Este estudo desenvolvido pelo Grupo de Pesquisa em Lazer da Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba, a partir da linha de pesquisa “Lazer e Meio Ambiente”, busca analisar, de forma crítica, as publicações da revista Licere, com o objeto Lazer e Meio Ambiente, objetivando desenvolver maiores aprofundamentos sobre a temática em questão. A pesquisa configura-se como um estudo de caso, constituindo-se de uma investigação exploratória nos diversos exemplares da revista Licere, publicados desde 1998 até 2012, a partir de levantamentos quali-quantitativos. Constata-se, entre outros resultados, que as publicações datam a partir do ano 2000, por se tratar de uma área recente, quando vinculada aos estudos do lazer, em particular, para as Atividades Físicas de Aventura na Natureza (AFAN). Todos os estudos são oriundos de universidades (públicas e privadas), comprovando ser a área acadêmica a responsável pelo aprofundamento e disseminação do assunto, mesmo que ainda incipiente, por se tratar de recentes práticas de lazer em nosso país.

This study developed by the Research Group Leisure Methodist University of Piracicaba, from the research line "Leisure and the Environment", it seeks to critically analyze papers published in Licere magazine on the theme of Leisure and Environment, with the aim of developing further in-depth explorations on the theme. As to the mode of investigation, the research is a case study and an exploratory study performed in the several copies of Licere magazine published from 1998 to the present days, through quali-quantitative surveys. Among other results, one sees that publications linked to studies on leisure, particularly Physical Adventure Activities in Nature, date from the year 2000, due to this being a recent field. All studies come from (public and private) universities, proving that the Academy is responsible for the deepening and dissemination of the subject, although still incipient due to these leisure practices being recent in our country.

O lazer, a periferia da metrópole e os jovens: algumas relações

O presente artigo propõe-se a discorrer a respeito dos aspectos que marcam o lazer na periferia da cidade de São Paulo e sobre como os jovens experimentam o lazer em tempos marcados pela influência quase implacável da indústria cultural. Conclui-se que na periferia desta capital faltam opções variadas de lazer, que os habitantes dessas áreas atribuem grande importância ao lazer e que essa esfera da vida pode representar para os jovens uma rica experiência pessoal e social, na qual o grupo tem importante papel. A existência de espaços que permitam a convivência faz-se essencial.

The present paper's purpose is to discuss those aspects that mark leisure in the outskirts of the city of São Paulo and how young people experience leisure in times marked by the almost implacable influence of the cultural industry. Conclusions point that this capital's outskirts lack assorted options in leisure; the inhabitants of these areas attribute great importance to leisure; and this sphere of life may represent a rich personal and social experience to young people, for whom the group is extremely important. The existence of spaces that allow for such cohabitation is essential.

Contribuições de Sebastian de Grazia para os estudos do lazer / Sebastian de Grazia's contributions to leisure studie

Este artigo baseia-se na análise da obra Tiempo, trabajo y ócio, de Sebastian De Grazia, na qual o autor analisa os aspectos tempo, trabalho e lazer na sociedade americana do início dos anos 1960. O objetivo foi refletir acerca do lazer, do consumo e da indústria cultural e das relações dessas questões com o universo dos jovens. Para tanto, foram estabelecidos diálogos entre a obra de De Grazia e as de autores que versaram sobre os temas tratados. Segundo De Grazia, para que o lazer volte a ter lugar privilegiado e para que possamos um dia falar em uma sociedade do lazer, será necessário que a humanidade se liberte do domínio das máquinas como fatores determinantes de como os indivíduos ocupam seu tempo e conduzem suas vidas. Percebe-se, também, a abertura da possibilidade de discussões sobre as relações entre lazer e juventude, consumo e indústria cultural.

This article is based on the analysis of Sebastian De Grazia’s Of Time, Work, and Leisure, in which the author investigates these aspects in the American society of the early 1960’s. The objective was to reflect on leisure, consumption, and cultural industry and their relation to the youth’s universe. To do so, several dialogs were established between De Grazia’s work and those of authors who approached such subjects. According to De Grazia, in order to leisure regain its privileged space and to allow one to someday speak of a society of leisure, it is necessary that humanity frees itself from the bonds of machines as determinant factors of how the individuals occupy their time and live their lives. It is also evidenced the possibility of debating the relations between leisure and youth, consumption and cultural industry.

Análise qualitativa dos trabalhos relacionados à Temática lazer e políticas públicas, publicados nos anais do enarel, de 1991 a 2008 / Qualitative analysis of works related to the subject of leisure and public policies published in the annals of enarel, from 1991 to 2008

O presente trabalho é resultado de um estudo realizado pelo Grupo de Pesquisa em Lazer (GPL/UNIMEP), que teve por objetivo analisar a produção do conhecimento na área do lazer, a partir dos anais do Encontro Nacional de Recreação e Lazer (ENAREL). A metodologia adotada no trabalho foi do tipo qualitativo, a partir da pesquisa bibliográfica, tendo como método o estudo exploratório, realizado nos anais do referido evento no período de 1991 a 2008. O material que deu origem a este artigo é referente às análises textuais e temáticas de 194 trabalhos relacionados a lazer e políticas públicas apresentados nas edições do referido evento, desde 1991, na forma de comunicações orais, que foram tratadas a partir de abordagem qualitativa. Observou-se que a qualidade dos trabalhos científicos assim como as ações e programas relacionados ao lazer apontaram o amadurecimento das reflexões com o desenvolvimento das edições do ENAREL, ao longo dos anos. Os resultados apresentados neste estudo procuram contribuir para a formação de banco de dados referente ao tema, assim como para a organização histórica da trajetória dos estudos do lazer no Brasil.

The present work is the result of a study performed by the Research Group on Leisure ? GPL/UNIMEP, which aimed at analyzing the production of knowledge in the of leisure through the annals of the National Meeting on Recreation and Leisure (ENAREL). The methodology adopted in the work was of qualitative type by means of literature research. The method employed was an exploratory study of the annals of the mentioned event, which occurred from 1991 to 2008. The material that originated this article refers to textual and thematic analyses of 194 works on ?leisure and public policies? presented in the events? several editions, starting in 1991, in the form of oral communications, through a qualitative approach.The quality of the scientific works, as well as the actions and programs related to leisure, showed that reflections matured together with the development of Enarel?s editions throughout the years. The results presented in this study are meant to contribute to the creation of a data bank on the subject, as well as to the historical organization of the studies on leisure in Brazil.
